| This Cold War-era cartoon uses humor to tout the dangers of Communism and the benefits of Capitalism. The film notes that America gives everyone the freedom to work at the job you love, freedom of speech and peaceful assembly, freedom to own property, security from unlawful search or seizure, the right to a speedy public trial, protection against excessive punishment and fines, the right to vote, and the right to worship God in your own way. However, despite these freedoms problems such as tension between labor and management, and inequality do exist. Dr. Utopia introduces a magic "ism" that can cure all problems that a free society has. Unfortunately the price doctor Utopia charges is all of a persons possessions and their freedom.
